    since security is the theme, i hope HDD data overwrite is on the copier so the file images cannot be extracted

    As long as the USB, or SD card, is not infected with malware that can infect your MFP and/or call home and send your files as soon as you put it in your computer.

    I talked to KM yesterday and only the BH 5020i (Brother) can do SFTP. I have a Lexmark XC9235 (KM C258) in my storage and it does allow SFTP.

    Nope I'm not trained on Konica.
    Looks like only Brother offers to scan to SFTP with public key auth.
