    Re: Developer in toner

Maybe experiment with it? Take out a measured amount of toner (say 100 grams) and dispense it into a small plastic cup. Then run a magnet through it repeatedly until you no longer get any iron oxide sticking to it. Figure out the percentage of weight of developer to toner.

This may be or may not be the case. In example TN324K lasts 28k and weight 547 grams and TN324M/C/Y lasts 26k and weights 513 grams, basically 2000 pages more are due 33 grams more in black cartridge. Both contain developer.
TN216 C/M/Y weights 437 grams and TN216K - 524 grams, after some maths it appears toner in K cartridge should be 487 grams and and rest to 524 is developer - 37 grams developer per 524 cartridge.

    True...percentages are between 2 - 20% (iron + manganese oxid). That means in grams between 10 - 100 grams.

It's a long time ago, but I believe in training the instructor told us it was around 10% developer in the toners

About 7 grams - based on simple calculations for C220 toners (because only black is mixed with developer), and it should be close enough to real value.

You have got me curious. What are you trying to do? The devtank will discard excess developer through the waste port. I would guess about a teaspoon full per bottle.
