    bizhub 350 paper lift question

I have searched this site archives. and can't find it. was there a lever kit or a mod done to help in the lever lifting in the back so the machine would know that the tray was in place? couldn't find it.

    thanks

Not knowing what the symptoms are I dont know what I'm looking for, I dont think this series machine needed the mod for extra lift in the tray like the DI-2010/3510 series machine. You still had to mod the shitty little holder on the early machines trays though. I did see a solution for a replenish paper indication even though the drawer was full and that got fixed with a firmware upgrade........... What is or isnt the machine doing?

well I may have solved it. for some reason this b200 just forgets it has paper in the tray. and will not print until you pull the tray out and re close it. I ordered some of thos black holders that go on the right side of the tray. and replaced them today. now I think that is fine. it seems like the tray would simply just seem not in all the way. I have had lots of trouble on this machine. I am glad that my other 50 or so are working fine. so. thanks

We use these to extend the plastic on the trays which gives more lift, improving feeding. Fit them on the back right corner of the tray where the lift contact is made & then fold the arms down out of the way.
