c450 network problem

    c450 network problem

    had an it guy go to the network settings and input ip address had him turn off machine when turned back on network never came back. can't even find the controller in system 2. any help please

    How long did you leave the machine for? Sometimes it takes a while for the Controller Detail and Network Tabs to appear after changing settings.

        At first, I'd guess you'd need to reinstall the Fiery software, but if you can't find the controller setting in service mode, things get tricky...

        So, I'd first try a firmware upgrade (or reflash, if it already had the latest version). Then, if the Controller option reappears, check if you have "Controller 1" selected for the Fiery (the internal controller is "Controller 0").
