the machine is hanging in initialization. customer states they have recently messed with the cat 5 cables. could a bad nic card cause machine to hang? thanx

Hi! I don't think so! But the nic card plugs into the MFB board. I will try removing the cf card from mfb. restart machine with out cf card. Switch machine of refit cf card and try it.
rewrite cf card fw.
Should you not have joy unplug machine remove mfb, cf card, nic and all memory cards in mfb. reseat memory and refit boards. Good luck!
