I have several Konica Machines, which I use to print bespoke mapping products. The Fiery on my C351 has died, and so until I can obtain a replacement (Very unlikely, as there are not many about at reasonable prices!), I wish to configure the machine as a PCL printer.
I am having a great deal of trouble doing so, as I wish to allocate a Static IP address to the printer, but it seems to have defaulted to DHCP, and whatever I do, I cannot disable DHCP - the option just does not appear anywhere on the menu system.
Can anybody assist? The machine is fairly critical to my requirements, and whilst it still functions as a copier, I desparately need to sort this out ASAP.
I have disconnected the dead Fiery. My sytems run on XP, and the network is fine - it is seeing the printer, when I can ping its constantly changing IP address. I have tried my original drivers (2006), and the latest available from Konica Minolta - all to no avail!!
