Had same problem!!!! Check cn32 on PRCB for proper connection....

Ahh, that proceedure is for the belt and fusing unit. The drum is provided with a "new article detection device"

yes if you change fusing unit or transfer belt. But NOT drum...

Most likely you have not followed the instructions properly...the front door must be open when you do the reset. Emujo

Check that there are no "P" codes up, as I think if there is the drum will not reset.

Make sure the pins arent bent on the dv unit that contact the drum chip.

Had this happen before when inexperienced tech replaced drum cart in a ham fisted manner
