If there is any "P" warning codes (little oil can on display) the IU will not reset.
You have to sort these before it resets.

Dear all, I'm new to this forum and I thank you in advance for your help and advice.

I've just replaced the black imaging unit in our c203 printer with a brand new one yet still get a message saying that it needs replacing. Is there anything else I need to do for the printer to register that there is a new imaging unit installed?
