Hi!

Is anyone else having problems with error code 3106 on C8000?

I got this code several times but it has been ok since firmware 33 and 40 were loaded.
I also got several 38-03 codes recently but have changed wiring looms in fuser, there may be a connection between this fault and your code.
Can i ask you how are the transfer units behaving in your machine especially the intermediate cleaning unit ?

C-3106: Fusing unit set abnormality

1. Check the fusing unit set condition, and repair it if any abnormality.
2. Check the connection between the rear side connector of the fusing unit and the main body side connector, and repair it if any
abnormality.
3. Check the fusing unit, and repair it if any abnormality.
4. Check the connection status of PRCB connector, and repair it if any abnormality.
5. Replace PRCB.

this is common with some machines found out the ADU rails were sagging .remove ADU and tighten rail screws inside machine .also may want to put small washers behind main black connectors on back of fuser unit for better connection when ADU is pushed back in good luck
