    C353 Error C163

    Got a C353 which displays error C-C163.
    When I do system clear the machine woks but
    prints compressing all the work on half the page as shown in the attached scan.
    According to the manual, I upgraded the firmware for the printer
    and then for the whole machine but it did not work.
    I'm now supposed to replace Printer control board.
    Under such a situation can the board be repaired?
    What should I check on the board to repair it?
    Any Idea how to solve this without replacing the board?

      Replace the whole board.
      KM i think dont have service parts for the individual IC's and Components of the board.

      U need to change the whole of the PRCB, that way you can check if theres problem in the print control.
