The machine had the hdd removed before we got it
i installed a new one and formatted hdd and ssd
then set machine back loaded animation data
now all working ok

when in admin the network box does not appear but in the top of the screen

I am pretty sure there is a NIC reset for this model that is typically bundled with the NVRAM recovery tool.
This will cause the button to reappear in admin mode. I have had this happen a few times with other models.

Initializing does not clear it
it needs to be turned off in the software switches
anyone help with the switch and bit number ?

Go into service mode, system 1, initialization and there should be a network data clear.. That should blow out the network settings to factory default without wiping the whole machine.

try to reset machine to factory deafauls, then try turn DHCP to on and check that machine get ip .. if not then manualy type.
Firmware are latest?

Hi Folks
I have a 223 that i need to clear network settings on
when in admin the network box does not appear but in the top of the screen
it displays waiting for ARP request
i presume it has been set up in the software switches
i do not have a manual for this model can anyone point me at the correct
switch number and value i need to clear this
