c203 ERROR CC-164

Hi All,

We have a c203 with cc164 we have put on all of these firmwares using our Olivetti account which mf250 is the same. this is the invalid one: R6-EFIGD

installed these:
GRD R6 NORDIC
GDM R5 EFIGD
GX6 R6 EFIGD
R6 NORDIC
A02E-OYO-0050-G2A-0900

none of these have fixed the issue. I have even taken the the NVRAM board off from another machine but still have the fault. I was thinking to try the nvram firmware download but never tried this as I don't want to upset setting this may change

Any help would be appreciated

This error is usually associated with a bad printer or MFP board. It can also be induced when you install the wrong MFP board. The Printer board is the same for the C353 family, but the MFP boards are not, 1 for the C353, 1 for the C203/253. The code designates a wrong rom contents error on start up. I only work on KM so I don't know if the boards are the same for the "branded" KMs. Firmware is also model dependent, 353 files will not work with 203. Double check that you have the correct MFP board, and the C203 firmware(C203 A02E0Y0-F000-G20-R6) Emujo
