Konica Bizhub C253 Light copies when using ADF

I am getting light copies when using the ADF but copies are fine when using the platen glass. I cleaned the optics but it had no effect. Any help would be so appreciated... Just a note, there is no CIS in the ADF. It recirculates the copies to do 2 sided.

have you replaced or removed he ADF? The mechanical adjustments and ADF read stop position could be out.

Hi There, What condition is the white reference plate on the ADF. If its dirty you will get feint copies. Also, what original mode is the machine using, that is, text or text/photo? Have you calibrated the machine fully?

I cleaned the White reference plate. I didn't calibrate the machine. I will try that... Thanks so much !!

I had removed the ADF in the past, I thought it was working ok after that. I will check that... Thanks so much !!

You might want to see if the default settings for the Doc feeder are photo/text. We have found that we have lighter images when it is set p/t rather than text.
Just a thought.
