We recently acquired this printer and it seems to be missing some settings. I need to set a static IP address but am unable to access the administrator settings.

The user manual says to access "administrator settings" by pressing the "Utility / Counter" key and it should display there as option 3. It's just not there.

Are there different user accounts that limit access to different options for this device? If so, how do I get admin access?

The administrator option will be hidden for certain reasons such as print/fax job in progress. There may be other reasons. You may want to access service mode just initialize the device to wipe everything.

I checked and I do not have any print / fax jobs in progress. How do I access service mode to wipe the device? Thank you for the quick response!

Information about how to get to service mode is contained in service manual.
When in service mode You click "System 1", then "Initialization", "Data Clear", and press start.
Afterwards You turn the machine off and on, and it should be good.
