    Bizhub 1200 Cleaning Web not rotating.

    I was getting dirty copies and realized that the cleaning web for the upper fuser roler was not turning/rotating. Hence the web accumulates a lot of dirt. How can I make sure that it is turning. Pics attached.

    Thanks

    Hello there;

    i've got this issue a long time ago on Pro 1050e;

    i'm not pretty sure, but, check the counter reset for the part.

    and check if there is no missing or exchanged screws, if some screw isn't touching any gear or piece that can make it hard to turn.

      I agree elpadre if it was a B600. If the count goes past the yield the web would stop. So a lot of guys would just install a new web without clearing the counter. But this machine should give a nice red message that would warn you that the web count is up.

      Make a pen mark on the web and let it run a bit to see if it moved. Also check the manual for I/O check for the relevant parts.

        This machine will make 1.3M on a web, even if the maintenance counter is on the web keeps turning.

        Is the machine low volume? I have seen a few machines in which the web dried out, and would not unspool off of the unused side. =^..^=
        If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
