3550idn fax inop?

We currently have 2 of these models, recently placed (1 month & 6 weeks) at 2 different customers. The fax option stopped working & doesn't register on machine (fax button no go & doesn't show as an option). Updated firmware & re-seated connections, no go. Ordered fax board & same symptoms.
Anyone else having issues with the fax board/function on these? I fear control board

3550idn has 2 eKUIO slots. Which one is you fax card inserted into?

I had a m3540 at a large bank that the fax was coming and going, today it wasnt showing up on the home screen, upgraded firmware and swapped the fax pwb, no help, found out the IT dept had turned everthing off. I talked with IT, and they turned it back on. We can do it by:


System settings
Network
Interface block settings
Option interface 2 (unblock)
