    Kyocera KM-2560

    Hi all

I'm having trouble with the document processor on a KM-2560 (DP670). Basically in a nutshell what's happening is when you copy a page through the DP what you get is the image that is zoomed on the horizontal and you are missing about 25% of the page. It's hard to explain (see the photos). All settings seem to be okay, firmware up to date. The DP in particular seems to be running slower than normal? Has anyone seen this before? Adjusting the speed of the DP in the maintenance mode made no real improvement. The DP was giving c9000 errors a few weeks back but that was fixed with a new wire interface. If anyone has any ideas it'd be appreciated.

If it's ok from the glass make sure there is no obstructions on the size detection sensor. When you put the A4 original in does it register as A4? Also is the copier directly under a Light? Ive had times where a machine is directly underneath a fluorescent light which can cause issues.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. Machine copies perfectly from the glass. Issue only from DP. And the A4 original is detected as A4 as it should. It's in an office with no direct light overhead or any excessive light in general.

I think I would attempt to adjust sub-scan magnification DP in sim U070. If there doesn't seem to be enough adjustment, I would check the DP main drive for friction/difficulty turning. Possible DP drive problem. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
