I've had troubles with charge roller getting stained, I've cleaned with alcohol, sometimes replaced all charge roller...good luck, mate

This is no secret. Just call Kyocera tell them the problem that you are having and that you need the special firmware for a machine running heavy coverage and the dev units replaced.Leave a comment:

This machine is in a print shop, so lots of different types of jobs/coverages... yes, on the current job, where the smearing is happening, there is a lot of color coverage on the page. Yes, we had the issue. Are they running a lot of heavy coverage. Look at the coverage report. Contact your rep and get the special firmware and replace the dev units.Leave a comment:

Customer Machine: 7550ci
Running color prints, initially issue only with magenta, now yellow as well... toner building up in the drum cleaning area, no visible damage to cleaning roller, auger, blade. Can remove drum and vac out toner to get running, but will return. Have vacuumed out the airways, filters etc. Vacuumed out waist toner path as well... Swapped drum assy between magenta and cyan, problem returned on magenta, did not follow drum... has anyone seen this before?Tags: None
