Replaced the 2 clutches on vertical transports of both machines.. They came with a smaller clutch than book shows/ different part number. Had 3.5w clutches and replaced with the correct ones that were 4w alot bigger clutches in size. No further jamming issues with either machine 15k prints since change of clutches.

setup lots of these machines, but never seen the issue really. I don't print lots of pages on setup, just a couple to make sure all the feeder ect. work. Have heard about it from the guys in the field and all type of resolution have been mentioned inculding the vertical transport unit clutches. Here is the situation though. There are 5 more of the identical clutches on this machine, 1 on bypass, 2 conveyance, 2 drive section and the 2 on the verticall unit.

We got 2 of these "302GR44120 CLUTCH FEED" ordered to replace on the VERTICAL FEED UNIT. Seems to be the only solution suggested so far.

I would clean the two vert tran clutches. just like, I think it was a j21 on a km-420. Sometimes there is too much grease on them from the factory
