Hi Gentlemen
I have a problematic DP-710 on a KMC2520. The problem is it will feed 1 or 2 pages, and then indicates a jam although there is no jam. I cant remember the jam code. even when you remove all the pages from the original tray and the output tray, lift the feeder from the glass and lower it again, and open the feeder cover and close it again, the machine still indicates a jam. If you wait a minute or two and do the above, it clears the jam msg.
While in the jam status I've gone into the service mode to see which sensor detects the jam, and the timing sensor is highlighted, even though there is physically nothing near the sensor that would trigger it. I've cleaned this sensor, to no avail. I've replaced it, still the problem persisted.
If anybody has any ideas, please help
