    Mylar Replacement DP670

I have to replace 5 mylars in the doc feeder (DP670). They have been mangled bad. I have not done this before. So if someone has, I have questions. Do I go in from underneath or do I have to gut the sucker from the top? Only have one set of the mylars. The attached doc show the mylars in question (#72).

I have replaced those from underneath before. Just remove "guide reading" the white reference from underneath and you can reach them from there. It's the "conveying film" (pictured #16) on the left of those mylars that isn't as straight forward to replace. But if it is okay it shouldn't be problem.

Thank you. I feel a lot better about doing it now.

Ran into a problem. The mylars listed in the book (303K524110 Film Pully) appear to be a mylar under the mylars that are damaged. The ones under are not square, they have a beveled edge furthest away from the slit glass. The ones I need sit on top of the beveled mylar. I do not see them in the parts book. Anyone know what the part number is? The ones I need hang over the edge of the base of doc feeder. If you lift the doc feeder you will see them hanging over. Hope I explained correctly. Anyone know the number.

Once again thank you. Where did you find this document? I do not see it in the bulletins.

It came up years ago and since I have a hard time finding old bulletins on kdaconnect I always save them locally for future reference.

I guess I'm at a disadvantage since we have only been a dealer of Kyocera for maybe 2 years. I have legacy products in the field and need all bulletins for them. Oh well. You would think they would have All bulletins listed somewhere. I now know that KDAConnect is a limited resource. I'll contact Kyocera rep and see if he knows anything that may help. If he does I will post my findings so others will know. Thanks for bailing me out on this one.
