printing from removable memory

    [Misc] printing from removable memory

    Hi Guys

    Not sure if this is even possible

    But one customer mentioned that when they print from a usb stick that the prints are coming out in colour, is there a way to default it to B/W instead of changing it each time?

    I cant seem to find a setting for this through system menu/command centre

    There is one for copy & send/ store but not for removable memory

    Any ideas ?

          Its a TA 5551ci but i have tried on other models and cant find it on them either

              AFAIK there is no default setting for that function. If the file is color it will be color unless changed. If the file is monochone it will be black unless changed (to process black). =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  I'm with Blackcat, even if you go into printer and set color selection to B/W it will print Status pages in B/W but USB will still be color if they are color.
