Still making this thing perfect for my Lawyer account. They have identified a small random blurring on the trailing edge of documents that are printed out from the ADF. The blur is slight and on one corner also. any Ideas are appreciated. thanks Ray

Re: ECOYSYS 6525
If you look closely enough I think you'll see that most slide document feeders do this. It occurs when the last set of rollers before the slit glass lets go of the trail edge of the original, and it changes from pushing the original to pulling the original. That little bit of buckle that keeps the original pressed against the slit glass is released, and the original can shift to the front or back. Depending on the distance of the rollers to the slit glass, that slight blur will be between 25mm and 30mm from the trail edge.
I would be very interested if you had a way to re-invent the slide read document feeder. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: ECOYSYS 6525
this particular model is particularly prone to this distortion issue.
a modification exists that adds ramps to the path at the glass, but to be honest, adjusting the hinge height and also checking for frame distortion(twist) of the DP are more useful. I've considered adding weight to the front corner inside the cover to ensure pressure on the guide bar, but have not been forced to do so due to availability of "used" straight frames in our inventory.Comment

Re: ECOYSYS 6525
Have had a couple of these machines cause this issue to discover that the foam pads securing the platen plate have deteriorated allowing it to apply more pressure [or less] on the multiple black swing guides just after the guide reading assembly. The design is to provide pressure on the guide assemblies by the platen plate allowing them to guide the original through the feeder. If the platen plate is mis-aligned it will put more pressure on one side than the other causing a skew at the end and hence a blur. Simply detaching the platen plate and re-aligning it may solve your issue or you may have to replace the foam pads and velcro attachments to properly align the plate. Hope this helps.Comment
