I installed this Fax unit and DIMM from another 4550ci. I reinstalled the firmware. I did a U671 and did a recovery Fax DIMM. Every time it gives me C0620 Error. The machine that I installed the new fax didn't previously have a fax but it did have a DIMM. I installed the DIMM that came with the the fax from the harvest machine and also the one in the machine. Still comes right up (after boot up) with the C0620. Any help would be so appreciated. I've been messing with this for awhile...

try this go into 671
then go to fax dimm clear then go to recovery fax dimm that may solve your problem -

You have the Fax Firmware DIMM and the Fax Memory Upgrade DIMM, yes? Take a look at the installation instructions. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Tried different slot today, different DIMMS, Thinking at this point the controller board has a problem. (That's probably why the fax interface wasn't on the machine but the buttons etc were...)Comment
