Re: km 5050
I'm thinking that if you were to check the error log you would find C0630.
Turn off the power and re-seat the lower DP connector. You may find that the connector is damaged by leaving it connected during transport. Whenever I moved these machines I disconnected both DP connectors and taped them to the top of the machine.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: km 5050
Plain paper? I'm not familiar with this model but most copiers do not allow duplex scanning or printing if selected paper is too thick or too small.
Have this model option in service mode to check duplex clutch, motor, sensors ..?Last edited by zoraldinho; 06-11-2019, 11:46 AM.Practice makes perfect

Re: km 5050
after you 906, What is the code displayed on the screen before 2 sided failure message posts? Most likely a bad connector on back of machine that goes to CIS. I have had a couple back in the day where the CIS failed, but usually the copies were full of random lines and garbage on second side. White reference roller possibly could be causing a white balance error if very dirty or not making full contact with CIS when closed. Just a point to check.Comment
