i NEED SOME HELP ON A KYOCERA-MITA PRODUCT. i NEED TO UPDATE SCANNER FIRMWARE AND NEED TO KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THE IBVERUP UTILITY AND THE PACKET DRIVER SOFTWARE IN ORDER TO UPGRADE SCANNER FIRMWARE ON KM-8030. iS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN HELP WITH THIS AND DOES THE XP SOFTWARE WORK ON VISTA LAPTOP???

I have no idea how to help you, but perhaps you should try posting in the Kyocera Mita forum, this is pretty much just Konica Minolta in here.

There is a setup file for the Packet Driver in the English\Install folder, there is no setup for the IBVERUP Utility, you just run IBVERUP.EXE.
I have used the Utility on a Vista Laptop.
