    Kyocera M6635cidn F237

    Hello All,

    M6635cidn with random F237 errors.
Updated firmware, changed network locations and computers

    (2) Main PWB Assy have been installed, before given to me!

I see give that code after the scan is done, and display say "scanning originals".
Update, I have been scanning 12 pages. When this happens all 12 pages have gone through adf, but shows 11 pages. Then codes out machine.

    Thoughts??

    Thanks

When scanning? That's a new one.

What type of scanning?: Email, SMB, FTP, USB stick, other, some combination?
If email, maybe file size is an issue?: color, 600dpi, Photo, etc. Memory or HDD?

An error is detected at the Image processing section. DDR2 memory check. A certain part of the memory may be faulty. The frequency of failure occurrence is dependent on the frequency of access to the faulty bit. The ASIC may be faulty if the memory is not.

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

I'm scanning to folder, B&W single sided. And it's random when it will code out. No printing!

I'm guessing if you watch the folder it's going in to, you'll probably see the ~temp file. Double check that the HDD isn't close to being full, and it has credentials to be able to fully write to the drive.
I'd also try a different computer to isolate it to a specific PC or machine issue.
          Hope that helps !

We have this machine in house for testing, customer has loaner onsite with no issues.

I have this machine connected to my computer in house.
Same error code that customer was getting.
Scan to folder, no HDD on machine.

Next step, boss says to call Kyocera.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I have a 356ci doing the same thing. There is a correction for this code in the previous firmware but this machine has the latest firmware and it started this issue a few weeks ago. The occurrences are random and happens when trying to use the doc feeder copying, faxing, or scanning.

My fix was replacing the document feeder. We never figured out what was wrong with the Doc feeder. But new one fixed issue.
