I had something like this on that model. Initially found the transfer unit was skipping, and that resolved a noise, but was still showing registration shift. After that, tech support told me to replace the main board. It was chargeable so the customer(inter-territorial) upgraded.

How many times consecutively did you align it. I've had it take 15 times or more to get into range. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Good morning martinkrys,
One of my co-workers ran into that. He contacted the Kyocera Technical Support hotline and they provided a reset file called...
Reset File For ColorShift(SN_RC1xxxxxxx).capt I personally have not tried this yet, but it worked for him. This system won't allow me to upload it because of the file type ".capt". I can email it to you if want. Send me a message to... cbijamest@gmail.com Attached are before and after samples that my co-worker sent to me last September.

fFirst of all, I thought it was just a transfer belt issue, which, by the way, was broken and made a lot of noise because of the worn bushing

You were right - I did 15 times manual color registration with extreme values and this resolved a problem. Btw, there is no reset FW or reset file for this type of machine

You has to ask kyo support for the reset *.capt file.
My *.capt file does not work on your systems because it`s depended to the first 3 digits from serialnumbers.
Send status page to your kyo tech und ask for registration reset file.

Have you tried aligning it manually? It takes a blue colored light to do it correctly.

Or use the camera on your phone. It makes so you can see the yellow in the blue.

What process, or simulation are you using to manually adjust this registration?
