Howdy folks, came across a machine jamming like crazy in the 1k finisher. As the papers entered the compiler they would be skewed and jittering as the next sheet came in.
The conveying guide that goes up and down as the paper enters the compiler was twisted. Rear frame is higher than the front frame. The fix was easy. Pull all the covers off the finisher, remove the bushing on the front frame that drives the shaft with the white plastic shown in red in the photo. You can push that shaft up and it will unmesh the gear that lifts the conveying guide up and down. You can get it back in line and count the teeth on the front frame and rear frame gear to verify its no longer twisted.
