M5526cdw scanning half black from document feeder

Have a M5526cdw scanning half black pages from the document feeder, the copies from the glass or scans from the glass are fine. Have not run into this before. Anyone seen this before? Replace the whole DF, boards, etc?

Customer said they cleaned the scan and reading glass and they are OK.

I've seen a similar problem before, but it was with the Ecosys M2040dn. There was a problem with (don't know how to name this part in english - sorry) foil under the glass, which peeled off a little and prevented the CIS sensor from moving correctly into starting position.

Is this sample a scan or a copy? Single-sided or double-sided?

Under the platen glass or in the document feeder? I am guessing under the platen glass.

Take a look under the area marked in red.

Wasn't the white reference plate but the seal next to it. Stuck it back and secured and OK now. Thanks
