    7052ci with a C2870

Anyone had this code that refuses to go away? We replaced the waste toner motor and cleaned everything out and it still throws the code when you turn the machine on. I got it to go away once and then it came back later that afternoon so I assumed it was the motor going out. I can not get it to go away now even after putting another motor in it. Has anyone seen the transfer belt waste toner section cause this code?

Does it refer to black Dev shutter? I had one took the waste box at the front to get at the drums did what I needed to do and ended up with a very similar code. There's a sensor at the front on that box I managed to get my air can into it worked fine after that.

No it's the waste toner collection motor, after researching more there are two waste toner motor and we replaced the wrong one so we are replacing the other one now to see what happens.

Waste toner collection motor fixed this, it's the motor on the right side of tbe inner section you slide out to gain access to the drums and developers.

How easy was it to replace? Looks pretty major to get into that magic box 😂.

It's simple, it's on the side and you don't have to remove anything to get to it. It has two screws and one plug, 5 minute job.
