    Kyocera 3500i

I just took in a Kyocera Takalfa 3500i machine that was connected to a coin box as I am getting an "insert coins" window upon start up. I need to get into the service modes to return it to the standard office modes. From memory, and it's been awhile, I thought I had to input 1,0,8,7 to get into the modes but that isn't working. Can someone please assist me?

10871087 will get you into service mode ... if it hasn't been changed. And U206 will take you to vendor mode. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It can also be set in U204. It has been reported to me that newer Kyocera models have a coin vendor option in U204 as well as a key counter option. I believe it just changes the message to "Insert Coin" but I have very little information on the option or how it works. I'd guess it's in U204 because if U206 is set, you will likely receive a 9010 error on boot if the coin box is not connected.

One release of Kyocera's had a oddball way of getting into Maintenance Mode. I believe you had to be in System Menu or maybe hit the Interrupt button before 1087.
