Copystar 1435 "C64" error code question.

A customer has a Copystar 1435 with only 9k copies. Error code c64 pops up frequently. I thought this was a thermistor related (open thermistor) code and I have replaced the thermistor and the heat lamp SSR. The copier does heat and come to a ready state fine but soon goes to the error code. Can anyone verify the C64 error code being thermistor related?
    Thanks!

I think C64 is shorted thermistor or overtemp.

Replace the thermal fuse. I ran into a series of 12xx and 14xx machines that would have the fuse check good at room temp, but would open at operating temp.By the time I got to the customers office, the fuse checked good again.
Also check the toner disposal tank.On the early machines if the disposal tank was full it would give a fuser code.

I have seen this problem caused by the heat lamp. If you check the continuity, it will check good. But the lamp can be weak. Take it out and look at it, if it is discolored ( dark color), then that is your problem.
