KM 1815 "Waste Toner Near Full"

I have had the same problem with the code not resetting. I have ordered the sensor and main board and by the time I returned with the part the problem reset itself. I would make sure you unplug the machine and reinstall the process kit. good luck

Have you checked the waste toner full sensor? It's not in the process unit. F.Y.I. When you get the waste toner neer full message, you can take the 2 covers off the side of the process unit and vacumn out the waste toner area. You may need to turn the machine off then on a couple of times, but the message will reset and you can get the full life out of the drum 100K.. Unless it's billable, then you replace..... Keep the old one for an emergency. You can also take the assy apart and clean the main charger. I have even cleaned the mag roller.

The customer had teh above message listed, ordered the PU-102 and replaced it when they received the C-7980 error message. Since then the "waste toner near full" message won't go away. Any suggestions?
