Hello there had more than one machine with same problem, just remove fax kit and problem solved (Faulty Fax Unit)

I had a simular problem with a Olivetti d-copia 18MF.
I tried to change all cards on the machine with an used machine i've had extra ,but it didn't work. In the en i had to use the old machine.
The only electrical part i didn't change was the scanner.
Can the scanner be the issue?

If you panel is locked on Kyocera with a several bars (similar to normal warmup), then unfortunately it is an Engine PCB with the possibility it has taken out the main PCB. Do not replace the main PCB, thinking this is the issue as the faulty Engine PCB could take that one out.http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/im...cons/icon6.gif
