customer has had this unit for a few months and complained the other day about it rolling her envelopes. this was not the main reason for the call though. i wanted to know if anyone has experienced this and if there is any fix or just live with it. thanks Mitch

I seem to recall an envelope pressure setting for the fuser. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is an Envelope Switch that needs to be slid into "Envelope Mode"... check the Advanced Operation Guide and search for "Envelope Switch" if you're not familiar with it.

The manual states that 'Envelopes cannot be printed in paper mode. When printing plain paper while the envelope mode is selected, the printing speed and quality will lower than in paper mode. Envelopes should always be fed from the MP tray, with the print-side down. If you use envelopes quite often, we recommend to use optional paper feeder PF-510"

      Hope this helps...
