    Heads Up on VoyagerE

After replacing the Main Drive Pack, I got a C5101.

The book says "Incorrect Vpp values during initialization" and "Replace Black Primary Charge Assy." Seems simple enough ... but that wasn't it.

I swapped yellow primary with black primary, hoping for a C5103, but it stayed C5101. Then I replaced black and yellow primarys, still C5101.

Figuring that I must have caused it, I pulled the back cover. The very last component that I put back on was the black drum motor, and there was the connector just dangling there, never re-attached. Apparently the drum must turn to correctly read Vpp (whatever that might be). It's funny that it did not identify a drum rotation error.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you very much... I was pulling out my hair, turns out there was a small dent in back panel, touching and stopping the M drum motor getting a C5103.

I have never been more annoyed with myself when I swap a drum or dev unit on one of the Color TA200-500 machines and forget get to plug something in or not plugged in enough....put it all together and turn it on and get an error and smack myself in the forehead knowing what the problem is.....and to make it worse do it more than once....

With all due deference to the Cat, making sure to plug in all the connectors is hardly a "head's up". But hey, sometimes the codes can be misleading.

            Hello folks!

I can't find following service codes: 5101 ->5104 in the kyo service manual...
            I've C5104 (yellow) on a TA 400ci.
I swapped the drum motor with another one but no result.
Anybody knows how to find a solution about this kyo error codes?
Why they're not in the manual??

            Thanks!

You must not have a complete manual. Please contact Paul. He can get you the correct manual, complete. www.justmanuals.com
