    [Misc] KM 3530

    How do you clear the "Service Maintenance needed" message.

    You need to figure out which component is asking for replacement. If maintenance has been performed regularly, it should be the Drum, DV Unit, and Fuser unit that all need to be replaced together. You can reset the main PM Count with U251, but I'm not sure if that will clear the message. Drum count is U110, and DV count is U157, but they cannot be cleared manually.

          Yes, they do. it is possible to reset the chips with some ingenuity, but you are much better off to simply replace the components in question.
