[Misc] Cannot Print PDF from Kyocera FS-1300D

    Hi,

I have a Kyocera FS-1300D in my office. I can print any type of documents except for PDFs. When printing PDFs, the paper comes half way out and the printer swallows it back it and it get jammed inside.

What can I do to fix this error?

    Cheers,

    Mr Davo

Can you duplex other documents (non PDF).
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Davo, do you have an update? Would like to know what the problem is and the possible solution.

          Hello DWise,

Thanks so much for your continued interest in my thread - unfortunately I have not yet found a solution. I have tried various different drivers (from Kyocera), however there has been no improvement. My next move is likely to be the installation of an Adobe Reader alternative, such as FoxIt Reader!

          Kind Regards,

          Davo

Before you do that, try the Print-As-Image function in the driver. Look for the Advanced button, then the checkbox Print-As-Image. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I tried the Print as Image function it still give an error. Earlier this printer was working perfectly with a Windows XP OS but at the moment I have Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) OS. I tried Foxit Reader as well but with Foxit Reader It doesn't print at all.

Try this With the windows driver under printing preferences click on the ppd tab then pick kpdl and under optioms pick pass threw and apply then try it let us know if it worked.
