    Splash/Welcome Screen

How do you change the welcome/splash screen to use another image such as a company logo? I know it is possible, don't remember how to do it....

Copy the files to an USB-stick and load the files to the machine using U224. The files are :

    callwin_ext_image.png 180x200pix max 1Mb
    callwin_ext_mes_detail.txt
    callwin_ext_mes_top.txt
    opening_ext_image.png 800x400pix max 1Mb

I did this only one time during the TA250ci, and I could not find additional info. If you have the SM, U224 tells you how to do it.

Use an application like Irfanview to format your image to 800x400 pixels, .png file format, and named exactly as Eric specified. Use simulation U224 to import the image. I think there's a bulletin somewhere ... =^..^=

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

I don't think this item ever made it into a manual. =^..^=

Image must be 800x480 for the newer models (I think 800x400 was recommended for the Taskafa's) but I use the 800x480 on the Taskalfa's and the newer units and it work just fine. Image must be saved on base directory of a usb drive saved under OPENING_EXT_IMAGE.PNG it must be a saved as a .PNG file or it will not load. I use paint.net its free and easy to use. Install opening image from U224.

                Hi,

I am new to this whole copy world. I purchased a second hand Taskalfa 250ci which still has the splash screen from the former company. I would like to change that, but I do not know what you mean by U224. I copy my files to a usb device and then?

                Thank you!
