Re: Km 250 ci - a4 z folding at registration
Also check that the transfer roller has proper spring tension, sometimes customer will pop roller out and push back without the spring.

Re: Km 250 ci - a4 z folding at registration
Its a J31 Jam. delay going into fuser. its had a new itb assy put in already and the copy quality is spot on. The machine is in a school so the summer break is near. Im debating whether to get KM UK in to help , but their support isn't very helpful at the best of times.
Thanks for your input guysLeave a comment:

Re: Km 250 ci - a4 z folding at registration
The closest that I can get to this scenario is paper jamming at the transfer roller/belt. It starts gradually at first, then gets worse until every page jams. The rubber inner ridge on the primary transfer belt starts to peel off, and wraps around the idler pulleys. The lumpy primary belt will wear through in areas that are lumpy. A ripper transfer belt an produce the same effect. =^..^=Leave a comment:

Km 250 ci - a4 z folding at registration
Hi everyone. I've got a 250ci that giving me an in intermittant fault but regular enough for the customer to start getting annoyed !
it will jam at the 2nd transfer roller / registration assy.. and create a z fold in the process. I have replaced :
Left hand door Assy Complete.
ITB Assy
Registration Assy
you could run 500 full colour no issue. But it will jam everytime when you try and do a grey scale adjustment on the first print.
The firmware is on v.13.
I haven't replaced the reg clutch as I sure this would give me wandering lead edge issues but this is fine. I have also checked the rear rail that the ITB sits on as i have been told that this gives problems if it breaks and the ITB is not square.
Any Ideas ?Tags: None
