    cleaning drum 101?

    what is the best to clean drum surface is there any way to wipe out the scratch? or what solution we need? any idea

    If the surface is scratched, you can clean it off by replacing the drum... if there is material on the drum such as label goo, you can sometimes clean off with a soft white cloth, but be gentle so you don't scratch the drum and have to revert back to step one...

      I havn't tried to take a line out but have used Meguiar's clear coat rubbing compound to bring back a drum from voids on the copy...The drum looked hazy before the polish....after the polish I used WD40...I also use the WD40 to wipe off any toner,etc stuck to the drum...only on 2050's, 2550's and 2560's so far.
