I need to upgrade the firmware on this machine, does anyone have the firmware?

Yes, I have it, email me if interested at Paul@justmanuals.com. Like everything else in this world, it isn't free but it's cost won't break the bank either.

You will also need a Compact Flash card.. Are you sure the FW update is completely necessary??
That dam machine is so old, it may be time to sell them a new TaskALFA 3050ci !! (fanfare) lol
OK, but seriously, you got to download it from Kyocera, maybe you got a buddy on kdaconnect, eh? After that, if you got a similar model machine, like a KM 2050 or something laying around, power it off , plug in the CF card, power it on, to format the card the way the machine likes it, if that makes any sense.. Then load the FW onto the root of the freshly formatted CF card, and off you go..
For the CS/KM-3050, 4050 & 5050 copier you can use a CF-Card or a USB Memory stick to update the Firmware. These devices may be formatted in your computer, it is not necessary to format them in a machine. You should be fine with formatting them to FAT or FAT 32. The Firmware file is arounf 94.7 Mb so you will need at least a 100 Mb CF-card. I have used up to a 1Gb usb memory stick as well. You must expand the files on your computer then you can copy to either device and follow the standard procedures for firmware installation.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Sent you a PM and email. I think you'll find it now. =^..^=
