    [Jamming] 3500i Tyres

We seem to be going through these very quickly, has anyone else had the same experience?

They dont have a lot of tread on them when new. are they made of cheese?

Yes is the answer.Change the seperation pressure springs for new ones as they caused a lot of the wear and jams.

Have you got the mods in place? Brown(copper) color separation spring? if not does your feed unit have adjustable separation plate to adjust pressure?

My ratio is 1 pickup tyre lasts to 2 feed and 3 separation tyres per tray. yet I have chasnged it to 1 pickup 2 feed 2 separation. with new mods...all at once... now go figure, what cheese they use.

I've had success with Konica color tyres (c203 etc) but, that time it was to avoid problems with multi feeding(flats on separation tyre) and since that is now sorted with the mods, I tend to stick OEM inside. Still have few machines running on Konica tyres, just to see what fails first OEM or Konica

If the machine is jamming, replace them as a set and send them back for warranty. With the updated feed section ours have been making it to the 150k rated count.

150k tops on feed. Pitiful considering kits are @ 300/600k. One would think they could make a tire that lasts.
