Colored lines running horizontal on page. Image components (drums, developers, transfer belt have been replaced and machine has been calibrated. Only happens on color prints/copies. Black and white are fine. Customer was running a large print job in color, trouble started in the middle of job. When the problem first started maybe half of the page was shaded in a particular color . I know the firmware is a level behind. I have attached a sample of what it looks like now. Thank you for any input.

Re: Km 500ci colored lines
I have seen this when the toner builds up behind the drum cleaning blade. Older drum units especially have this issue. They changed the cleaning bar inside the drum unit so the toner would not build up and pack in behind the cleaning blade.
Is this original toner or compatible. I have seen with both this issue but there is a brand of toner, cant remember its name but starts with R, that has done this to several of my machines.
Only solution is really to change drum units and use Original toner. disassembling them and cleaning them out doesn't work especially if the drum cleaning blade is damaged or the drum scored.

Re: Km 500ci colored lines
You might also look for a piece of paper sitting on top of the primary transfer belt assembly, and maybe partially fed into the primary transfer cleaning unit. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Km 500ci colored lines
Dis-assembled machine gave it a very good cleaning. Re-assembled. No change. Did notice the yellow dv unit had already dusted all over the filter and dv covers. Replaced yellow dv unit, calibrated, problem solved. Thank you.Comment

I'm happy that you got a resolution, and hope it holds. But your description of the solution does not fit the problem. I suspect that your tech is not telling you the whole story. Who knows? The details might come out later on. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: Km 500ci colored lines
The last post were things I did personally, the only thing I can think of is the yellow dv unit had not been replaced recently. So many things had been tried it probably started to run together. The machine went from printing colored lines to nice clean pages immediately after dv replacement. Go figure. I do not like this series of machines, I'm almost afraid to touch one that is working decent. Seems like problems are created after trying to calibrate and improve image quality. I hope it continues to work also. Thanks.Comment
