I have to install the firmware.... I have downloaded it and unzipped it no problem....the question I have is one of the 17 items is itself in a compressed(zipped)folder....Do I unzip that also and add it to the update or install it along with the other 16? it was eweb.optmsg and haven't ever had that extra step with Kyocera...usually there isn't a zipped folder inside a folder I already unzipped

Unzip all the fine and put it in a root of Pendrive or CF Card.. but insure that no other file should be there..Comment

Just to finalize this issue, I've upgraded all my machines using the latest firmware and it resolved the problem I encountered on some of the first machines in the field...I was having doc feed jams after the first 3 feeds and found that the feed clutch was staying powered up and getting warm even after the jam....after the firmware the clutch would pulse on and off giving the originals a extra "kick" into the next set of rollers....works great...problem solved....there was still a compressed zip file that was installed with the rest of the firmware but it had no effect to operation...it was
