    Kyocera SRDF-2

There are some lower transport rollers on this Kyocera SRDF-2 that turn to goo on me. I am looking for a part number to purchase replacements, or a solution as to why this is happening. The lower transport rollers have these three white nylon rollers that ride over top of them, and are on the cover. Just to give a general idea of which rollers I am mentioning. Thank you for any help given.

Are you looking at the loop roller?

Neoprene rollers have a tendency to turn to a sticky bubble-gum like stuff over time, but especially if you use alcohol based or xylene based cleaners on the rollers. The neoprene absorbs the solvent each time they're cleaned.

Orange oil based or water based cleaners do not seem to prematurely damage the neoprene rollers.

The first machine I remember this happening on was the Canon NP3525 with the RDF1, and the neoprene rollers took about 8 years to go gummy all by themselves. With the wrong cleaner 3 years.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
