i think your problem is in using third party toner. This usually appears in that case, with also front side having the grey background across entire page.

thats exactly what it is in 99,9% of the cases

could be saturated transfer roller.

I have a 6525 giving me a black band on the leading edge on the back of a copy or print. After about two or three prints it goes away , but comes back on the next print or copy job.
