Setup in shop new out of the box. Have a hardwired network setup for testing. Machine says "Do wireless setup?" Select no and a box shows "don't show again". Ok fine. Do the LAN setup, everything checks fine. Setup complete.
3 weeks later, copier sells, goes to customer's office, they would like to try the wireless versus having a cable run back to the router. Ok fine.
No wireless settings can now be found. ANYWHERE! Not the machine, not the web interface, not service mode. Have tried every machine reset we can find.
Called Oki dealer tech support. Supposed to do a memory clear to restore back to shipping default. Still no wireless setup. Spent over an hour on the phone with tech support and still nothing. The tech support guy mentions "Well you should know that in Japan they are very literal with their statements" going back to the "don't show this again" box. Thanks Jack....... But I'm pretty sure they didn't mean to totally disable the wireless never to be used again.
Has anyone had this issue and if so how did you fix it?
