Kip 700M: light pages along the bottom

got a call today for a Kip 700M with light pages along the bottom.

I suppose this is a broad general question but is there something in particular we should look for?

I think the PM counts were over the recommended pages/feet...I'll have to see what numbers I have for that machine.

    Start with cleaning:

    *the LED array
*the primary corona wire and grid
    *the transfer corona wire
*look inside the developing unit (monocomponent) to see if there is adequate toner. A failed piezoelectric sensor will starve the developing unit for toner. This piezo is used on a bunch of different manufacturers/models. To confirm, you can manually dump in a cartridge of toner and see if the quality improves.

If you're starting to get a toner buildup on the drum, then your out of luck. The drum is no longer available. Drum cleaning is only a short term solution.
If you need a developer rebuild, then you're ourt of luck. Parts are no longer available.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I suppose that is good news about the drum and developer items no longer being available. lol

Our guy took the drum unit out and cleaned the corona units, did some vacuuming. Pages look better again.

wanted to add print out says:

      Meter A: 110,364 sq feet
